i appreciate the textual analysis of what was said in the gospel of mary magdalene, utilizing a new way of looking at things by going back to an old way that was denied. we love nuance 🥰
i’m obsessed with uncovering what was hidden or made up about the feminine in abrahamic faiths (specifically asherah, lilith, & mary magdalene). I have a masters in theological studies, specializing in social justice & ethics.
p.s. if you haven’t read “the women’s bible commentary”, i highly recommend. it’s one of the few textbooks i kept from my time in seminary 🥰
I LOVE the WBC! In fact, it was in one of my recommendations posts several months ago. I have an MDiv, and it's also one of my textbooks that I refer to all the time. It sounds like we have very similar interests! I'm a devotee of Mary Magdalene, but Asherah is also a big part of my faith. My whole project here is on exactly what you described: uncovering the Divine Feminine story that has been so aggressively concealed in the Christian story. I'm so grateful to connect with like-minded people here!
No such thing as the Garden of eden or Adam and Eve …
But the Church has also KNOWN this for many years…
And kept it quiet 🇨🇦

Thank you so much! You just described what this publication is about better than I ever could. :) I'm so glad it resonated!

Sin exists, because people who kill that is a sin, there are so many other things that are sins.
